What level rider do I need to be to come on your trips?
For all trips we recommend you have a reasonable level of fitness and some mountain biking experience. We can tailor tours to meet the needs of the members of the group. However if you are new to biking and don’t wish to participate in some or all of the riding, we have reduced cost options to allow non biking guest to attend, just get in touch to discuss this.
I don’t want to bike but would like to come with my partner- is there enough to do?
Yes! Livigno has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants and non biking sporting activities including high rope activities to keep non bikers and children occupied.
What if I don't want to bring my own bike?
Prices quoted exclude bike hire as we appreciate many of you want to ring your own bikes. But we can offer quality full suspension bike hire and e-bike hire working with the following local hire shops:

We’re a mixed ability group, do you cater for this?
Yes we can tailor make a trip which is suitable for your group. We can also mix in Yoga, Pilates or Hiking into a perfect tailor made holiday for you.
I don't want to ride, can I still come?
Yes absolutely, get in touch and we can arrange a cost reduction for any non riders.
Where do we meet for the guided tours?
You will be picked up each day at your hotel around 09.30am - 10.00am each day.
I’ve heard you can ride with Hans Rey in Livigno?
Sometimes yes. He has been known to lead our groups but we can’t guarantee this!
What’s included in your packages?
We include the guiding as specified in your package including any lift passes required, bike & helmet hire, half board basis and transfers from Milan airport. All you need to do is fly to Milan Malpensa or Bergamo utilising the many low cost airlines such as Ryanair or Easyjet. We just need the details of your flight prior to booking. Why not get in touch using the contact form to discuss your preferred dates and we can check availability.
What is your cancellation policy?
In order to secure your holiday we ask for a deposit of 30% of the total booking, the rest is payable 7 days prior to travel. Should you need to cancel your holiday, we ask for 60 days notice to avoid any cancellation charge.
Why are your charges in Euros?
We work directly with our hotels and guiding partners in Livigno and they will take the payment via credit or debit card.
What should I pack?
The temperature in Livigno in the middle of July is around 15-25 degrees Celsius as in the rest of the Alps.

- MTB helmet
- MTB shoes – clip or flat
- 2 x MTB gloves (long fingers; no short fingers)
- MTB goggles and sunglasses
- 3/4 x padded bike pants (short & long)
- Rain jacket and rain trousers
- Long-sleeved, warm undershirt (e.g. merino)
- Shirt/jersey short-sleeved + long-sleeved
- Light, long fleece or thermal jacket (down, soft shell)
- buff cloth
- Warm jacket, long trousers and long-sleeved tops for the evenings
- 3/4x MTB socks (quick-drying)
- Sunscreen / also for the lips
- Drinking bottle(s) / drinking system
- Backpack with rain cover (at least 16l volume)
- Clothes bag to separate wet and dry clothes
- Camera/mobile phone with extra memory card (possibly extra batteries)
- Headlamp (for safety).
Bike Equipment List
- 3 x brake pads - suitable for the brake
- Replacement derailleur hanger - suitable for the bike
- Bottle/pack of chain lube
- 4 x tubes or 2 x bottles of tubeless milk and "salami"
- Chain lock - suitable for chain
- Other particular/special spare parts - suitable for your bike
- Air pump

- Tubeless tyres work great in this terrain Volume: 2.3 inches and larger is best
